Reconnecting with your culture. 2021: A year after

 On July 19, 2020, it was announced the start of the international pedagogical program «Reconnecting with your culture» on learning cultural heritage dedicated to children from 5 to 17 years old in order to bring them closer to the important values of life and strengthen the sense of separateness.

 The project has been conceived and designed by the Italian professor Olimpia Niglio with the coordination of the Colombian art teacher, Kevin Alexander Echeverry.

The international project «Reconnecting with your culture» promoted by the international research center «EdA Esempi di Architettura» in collaboration with UNESCO University and Heritage since June 2021 is also a member of the European Commission (New European Bauhaus).

 After a year since the beginning of the project, on July 20, 2021, the first intercontinental exhibition opens with more than 900 drawings from various countries of the world and from 4 continents: Africa, America, Asia and Europe. The exhibition, curated by Colombian Kevin Alexander Echeverry and supervised by Professor Olimpia Niglio, proposes an interesting perspective on cultural heritage seen with the eyes of children and with interesting reflections on the very concept of cultural heritage across different cultures.

For the first time, an exhibition to the dimension of the child will make it possible to reflect on the value of the local cultural heritage and to intender the importance it has in the life of each person.

Finally, after a year of intense work with more than 100 international seminars around the world, art and architecture classes in primary schools, 3 intercontinental congresses and many training meetings, the pedagogical program «Reconnect with your culture» is applied in many schools in the world and continues to build projects to strengthen the value of local cultural heritage from Australia to America.

  Reconéctate con tu cultura. 2021: un año después

El 19 de Julio de 2020 se anunció el inicio del programa pedagógico internacional «Reconéctate con tu cultura» sobre el aprendizaje del patrimonio cultural dedicado a los niños desde 5 hasta 17 años con el fin de acercarlos a los valores importantes de la vida y fortalecer el sentido de pertenencia.

 El proyecto ha sido concebido y diseñado por la profesora italiana Olimpia Niglio con la coordinación del maestro de arte colombiano, Kevin Alexander Echeverry.

El projecto internacional «Reconéctate con tu cultura» promovido por el centro internacional de investigación «EdA Esempi di Architettura» en colaboración con UNESCO University and Heritage desde el mes de junio 2021 es también miembro de la Comisión Europea (New European Bauhaus).

 Después un año desde el inicio del proyecto, el 20 de Julio de 2021 se abre la primera exposición intercontinental con más de 900 dibujos desde varios paises del mundo y desde 4 continentes: Africa, America, Asia y Europa. La exposición, con la curadoria del colombiano Kevin Alexander Echeverry y la supervisión de la profesora Olimpia Niglio, propone una interesante perspectiva sobre el patrimonio cultural visto con los ojos de los niños y con interesante reflexiones sobre el concepto mismo del patrimonio cultural a través las diferentes culturas.

Por primera vez una exposición con la dimensión del niño permitirá reflexionar sobre el valor del patrimonio cultural local y también entender la importancia que tiene en la vida de cada persona.
